System/Network Administrator (Mid-level)
This position will start out developing CMMI programs and transition, in May of 2008, to a full-time System Admin.

Job Description:

• Sets up, configures, documents, and supports internal and/or external networks (LAN, VPN, Telecomm, & wireless).
• Develops and maintains all systems, applications, security, and network configurations.
• Maintains systems reliability and develops and maintains a back-up and disaster recovery plan.
• Monitors and troubleshoots networks, switches, hubs, routers, and peripherals.
• Researches, analyzes, and implements upgrades, patches, new applications, and equipment.
• Provides responsive and courteous technical support and guidance to users.
• Installs and configures new hardware and software.
• Maintains and ensures compliance with corporate IT Security Plan.
• Designs and maintains corporate website and associated intranets in compliance with Section 508 requirements.
• Assists in short and long term planning including the development of strategic plans to leverage emerging technology to support future enterprise needs.
• Assists in establishes and maintaining IT budgets and solicits vendor quotes and recommends IT-related procurements.
• Performs a variety of IT-related tasks to support corporate initiatives.

• Operation Systems: Microsoft Window 2003/XP, FreeBSD
• Databases: MS-SQL 2000/MY-SQL
• Web-Server Applications: Apache (FreeBSD), IIS (Window 2003)
• Server Applications: Window 2003 Active Directory, MS Exchange 2003, SharePoint Portal 2003, SharePoint Services 2.0, Samba, Deltek Product, Avaya System
• Programming Languages: PHP, ASP, HTML, JavaScript
• Web Design Tools: Macromedia Dreamweaver/Flash, Adobe Photoshop/Illustrator
• Business Applications: Microsoft Office Product (Office/Visio/Project), Symantec (Anti-virus; Anti-Spam; Backupexec; Ghost), Acronis TureImage, SonicWall Firewall
• Knowledge and Concepts: TCP/IP, HTTP, DNS, DHCP, NAT, SMTP, VPN, Open Source, Client/Server Architectures, Apache Virtual Hosting, EVM interfaces, CMMI & ITIL processes

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 4-6 years of relevant experience.
• MS certifications (MCSA, MCSE) preferred.
