Senior Level Systems Administrator (Supervisor)

Requirements

• Minimum BS degree in related field and 8 years of directly related work experience.  In lieu of degree, 12 years of directly related work experience.
• Demonstrated leadership of small teams of technical personnel.
• At least 6 years experience performing system administrator duties on Linux and/or Solaris servers and workstations. Must have some Solaris experience.
• Experience maintaining compliance with formal IT security standards.
• Demonstrated experience with writing Perl and shell scripts under Unix/Linux.
• Capable of maintain and tracking support metrics and presenting this information to our customer in a clear and concise manner.
• Desirable but not required skills: - Experience with firewall/router configuration, log servers and consolidated backup systems.- IT Security compliance experience with FIPS/FISMA standards.- Experience with AIX, HP-UX, VMS very useful.
