POSITION TITLE:  Program Manager/Director of GWAC/IDIQ Programs

POSITION SUMMARY:

Directs and supports Caelum’s GWAC, IDIQ programs and identify potential business initiatives within federal government agencies and potentially state or local governments that provide for the expansion of Caelum’s IT and professional services capabilities and revenues.   Develop and maintain relationships with customers and lead/conduct development activities to pursue identified potential business opportunities that would capitalize on established and expanded capabilities of Caelum.  Network with outside organizations to explore opportunities for priming, partnering, or sub-contracting that would exploit Caelum’s capabilities and increase revenues.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Manage and lead the existing Caelum GWAC contracts, and monitor and pursue task orders issued through the vehicles.
• Monitor and pursue new GWAC/IDIQ contract vehicles. Develop and recommend strategies for using the Company’s technological strengths and for developing new capabilities.
• Lead/assist in new business capture and pursue activities, champion and/or assist multi-discipline in proposal preparation activities, and recommend appropriate teaming partners.
• Manage and report activity, pipeline development, and revenue forecasting through developed organizational processes. 

 

REPORTING/INTERFACE RELATIONSHIPS:

• Reports directly to Caelum’s President or VP of Business Operations depending on the seniority of candidate.
• Interfaces on a regular basis externally with customers, vendors, and teaming partners.
• Participate in monthly manager and weekly BD meeting, and internally interface with other executives, program or project managers, HR, and support group members as needed.

 

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

• B.S. in Engineering, Science, Computer Science, or related field is preferred.
• M.S. or other advanced study or training is desirable.
• At least 4 years demonstrated previous successful relevant work and management experience.
• In-depth knowledge of the Fed Government contracting acquisition processes.
• Capable of establishing relationships with potential customers.
• General IT knowledge or technical background with clear understanding of customers’ missions and requirements in order to achieve revenue and customer satisfaction.
• Keen knowledge of technology providers and service companies involved in the DOD and/or civilian market.

 

COMPENSATION AND OTHER FINANCIAL CONSIDERATIONS AT HIRE:

• Base salary open, depending upon background and experience of successful candidate.
• This position is an incentive-oriented position; in addition to base salary and comprehensive fringe benefits, this position will be eligible for additional incentive compensations directly related to revenues and earning generated by candidate.
